Cancer Warrior ("the App", "we", "us") provides educational information about foods, drinks, herbs, supplements, medications, and lifestyle topics studied in relation to cancer, plus an optional AI assistant. The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, address, or other directly identifying personal information.
You provide: AI Assistant messages you type are sent to our servers and AI provider to generate a reply. Please do not include personally identifying details in your messages.
Automatic: a random, anonymous device identifier (to count your free trial and link your subscription) and your subscription status (active/expired) from our payment processors.
Stored only on your device: favorites/bookmarks and your disclaimer acceptance.
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, health records, or biometric data.
To provide the library and AI responses, manage your trial and subscription, secure and improve the App, and comply with legal obligations.
We share the minimum data needed with providers acting on our behalf: our AI/LLM provider (assistant messages), Stripe (web card payments — we never store card numbers), RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app subscription purchases and status), and our hosting/database provider. We do not sell your personal information.
Assistant message history and subscription records are retained while your use is active and as needed for legal/operational purposes, then deleted or anonymized. Locally stored data remains until you clear it or uninstall.
You can stop using the AI assistant anytime, and clear local data by uninstalling. Depending on your region (GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete data we hold; contact us with your in-app anonymous identifier so we can locate any records. Manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple/Google account or the web billing portal.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or your local minimum age) and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Policy; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
